Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking an experienced technician to provide on-site support for installing and maintaining security systems. The ideal candidate has over 3 years' experience in fibre optic cable splicing and holds a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License. This role requires outdoor work and the ability to work independently, with a 5.5 days work week and potential weekend duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.).
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License required.
• Able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for security system installations.
• Conduct software and hardware inspections.
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports.

Job description

• 5.5 days work week (may require work on weekends and public holidays if needed)

• 9am - 6pm (Mon-Fri)

• 9am - 1pm (Sat)

Responsibilities

• Outdoor work.
• Provide on-site support to install, repair, and maintain security systems and respond to fault calls.
• Conduct software and hardware inspections.
• Coordinate with clients and contractors.
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports.
• Perform testing and commissioning.
• Work after office hours and on weekends if needed.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Fibre Optic Cable Splicing, and in installing and repairing security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter systems).
• Candidate must possess at least a Building Construction Safety Supervisors (BCSS)/ Supervise Construction Work in Workplace Safety and Health Certificate.
• Able to work independently.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License.
