Job summary

A leading maintenance services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced individual to oversee maintenance and workshop operations. The ideal candidate will conduct audits, ensure compliance with safety policies, manage team performance, and oversee maintenance activities across multiple teams. Responsibilities include planning schedules, improving workflow efficiency, and providing technical advice on bus recovery plans. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership and technical skills in maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audit of maintenance and workshop operations for quality review.
• Ensure Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, procedures and regulations are followed.
• Manage bus recovery plans with Bus Operations Control Centre (BOCC).
• Manage team's performance in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Oversee housekeeping and availability of workshop tools, equipment and expendables.
• Oversee maintenance activities across multiple maintenance teams.
• Oversee on-the-road recovery operations for bus breakdowns.
• Oversee the work of contractors to ensure safety requirements as well as operating and quality standards are met.
• Perform on-the-job coaching to team members.
• Plan maintenance schedules and resources.
• Plan work activities and manpower.
• Propose and implement workflow initiatives to improve the efficiency of bus fleets maintenance.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations for bus recovery plans.
• Review inspection and maintenance records to ensure accurate information is compiled for reporting.
