Job summary

A reputable recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a procurement specialist to develop effective procurement strategies and manage the procurement process. Candidates should possess a tertiary qualification or a diploma with substantial experience, preferably in the Public Sector. Key responsibilities include preparing tender documents, monitoring procurement activities, and providing professional advice. The position offers a contract period of 21 months, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Possess a tertiary qualification. Alternatively, diploma holders with more years of experience can be considered.
  • Candidates with procurement experience and/or experience in the Public Sector with knowledge on Government Procurement procedures will be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop appropriate procurement strategies to achieve effective procurement.
  • Prepare quotation and tender documents and manage the quotation and tendering process.
  • Monitor procurement activities to ensure timeliness of procurement and contract implementation.
  • Provide support and professional advice in sourcing, contract management, and spend analysis.
  • Capture lessons for case studies including good practices and irregularities.
