The role emphasizes building a strong sales pipeline and converting opportunities into profitable contracts. The candidate will prepare proposals, RFQs/RFPs, pricing models, and provide market insights.

Qualifications

Degree in supply chain/logistics or related field.
At least 5 years of proven BD experience in Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics & Transportation.
Good understanding of freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, customs processes, and supply chain solutions.
Proven track record in business development and sales.
Good level of MS Office knowledge.
Strong business development and sales management skills.
Strong communicator with persuasive written and oral skills.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics and Transportation in Singapore.
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and convert opportunities into profitable business.
Establish and maintain long-term client relationships and be the primary contact during sales.
Monitor market trends and provide input into strategy and growth areas.
Generate reports and track KPIs related to sales performance and pipeline.
