A leading storage solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Senior Storage Engineer with expertise in Pure Storage. The role involves designing, deploying, and administering storage systems while managing daily operations and troubleshooting issues. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in storage engineering and strong SAN knowledge. Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years in storage engineering or enterprise infrastructure roles.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with Pure Storage solutions.
  • Strong SAN knowledge (Brocade/Cisco).
  • Experience supporting enterprise environments (VMware, Linux, Windows).
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently.
  • Pure Storage certifications (PCSA, PCSE) preferred.

Senior Storage Engineer (Pure Storage) — Key Requirements
Core Technical Skills
  • Pure Storage expertise (MUST-HAVE)
    Strong hands‑on experience with Pure FlashArray, FlashBlade, Purity OS, SafeMode, snapshots, replication, ActiveCluster.
    Experience deploying, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting Pure Storage systems.
    Familiar with Pure1 monitoring, analytics, and proactive alerting.
  • SAN & Storage Technologies
    Strong in SAN fabric management (Brocade / Cisco MDS).
    Good understanding of iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NVMe-oF, storage zoning and multipathing.
    Solid knowledge of block/file/object storage concepts.
  • Platform & Integration
    Experience integrating storage with VMware, Windows, Linux, AIX (optional), backup solutions, and cloud/on‑prem infrastructure.
    Familiar with automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Ansible) is a plus.
  • Performance & Troubleshooting
    Skilled in identifying performance bottlenecks, IOPS/latency analysis, capacity trending, and remediation.

  • Monitor performance and capacity using Pure1 and other enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Troubleshoot complex storage issues across SAN, hosts, and virtualization layers.
  • Drive storage lifecycle management: upgrades, patching, migrations, and hardware refresh.
  • Ensure storage availability, resiliency, and adherence to security & compliance standards.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, virtualization, DBA, and application teams on storage requirements.
  • Develop automation, documentation, SOPs, and best practices.
  • Participate in on‑call support for critical storage operations.
