Job summary

A leading supplier of industrial products in Singapore is seeking a Sales Executive to drive business development in steel pipes. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of sales experience in industrial products, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and a strong technical understanding of steel pipes. This role involves developing sales strategies, maintaining customer relationships, and providing technical advice, with the possibility of travel for business.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial products sales, preferably steel pipes or related products.
  • Familiarity with international standards (API 5L, API 5CT, ASTM A106, ASTM A53) is an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Willingness and ability to travel when required for business purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned targets for steel pipes.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted sectors such as oil & gas, construction, shipbuilding.
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and project contractors.
  • Provide prompt responses to inquiries, quotations and order confirmations.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics and quality team to ensure timely delivery of orders.
