Overview

The candidate will join the Analysis team of the Manpower Research & Statistics Department, which is responsible for in-depth statistical research & analysis supporting MOM’s strategic outcomes. The candidate will curate concise briefs on emerging labour market trends, both locally and globally, and support the communication of labour market insights through clear and effective visualisations to improve the team’s value-add to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Systematically gather timely and up-to-date information on labour market developments to identify emerging trends and produce concise briefs to communicate key insights to internal stakeholders
  • Review, conduct and synthesise literature on labour market developments
  • Design and maintain processes for timely and accurate checks of data in reports and statistical releases
  • Design and develop visualisations (e.g. charts, dashboards) to explain labour market insights
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for labour market intelligence and contribute to the planning and procurement of labour market information products
  • Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned
