Full Time Staff Nurse (Geriatrics Clinic)

Working locations: Central

Working dates: 5.5 days work week

Job Scope
  • Ensure smooth day‑to‑day running of the clinic, maintaining operational efficiency and high‑quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate and schedule patient registrations, assist with payment collection, and ensure accurate maintenance of medical records.
  • Perform patient assessments, support clinical interventions, and assist in medicine dispensary.
  • Conduct home care visits where required.
  • Provide quality nursing care, procedures, and treatments to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of patients.
  • Record and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, medication records, and charts.
  • Assist doctors and attend to medical procedures as needed.
  • Provide patient education to support understanding of care plans, medication, and disease management.
  • Demonstrate clinical nursing competencies including venepuncture, administering injections, intermittent and indwelling catheterisation, health screening, ECG monitoring and interpretation, and other nursing procedures.
  • Uphold infection control standards and comply with legal and organisational protocols on the handling and storage of medication and medical supplies.
  • Undertake any other responsibilities as directed by the management.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical experience; prior experience in geriatric or palliative care is highly preferred.
  • Strong commitment to patient safety, compassionate care, and clinical excellence.
  • Able to communicate well with elderly patients; dialect‑speaking ability is a plus.
