Job summary

A leading audit and compliance firm is seeking an experienced Business Auditor to support SOX compliance initiatives. The role involves executing and documenting SOX compliance programs, conducting control testing, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. An ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant work experience, particularly in public accounting or internal audit. Strong knowledge of IT General Controls and experience with audit management tools is essential. This position is a 1-year fixed-term contract based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, internal audit, or SOX compliance roles.
• Proven experience with ITGCs including logical access and program change management.
• Demonstrated experience in testing ITACs within major ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute the SOX testing plan for key financial and operational processes.
• Lead testing and documentation of IT General Controls (ITGCs) across various domains.
• Prepare audit workpapers in accordance with audit standards and requirements.
• Identify control deficiencies and develop remediation plans.
• Act as a liaison between internal process owners, external auditors, and management.

Skills

Proven, hands-on experience with IT General Controls (ITGCs)

Experience with IT Application Controls (ITACs)

Strong understanding of COSO 2013 framework

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with audit management software

Familiarity with data analytics tools

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
