Job description

This role is a newly created position to source for powertrain (data center) for the region.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead Sourcing initiatives driving results measured by lower material costs, responsive supplier performance, process and service improvements, and resultant productivity throughout the supply chain.

2. Lead, facilitate and execute Sourcing cost reduction projects aligning with regional strategy including category management for Data Center Capex

3. Accountability for project scope and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.

4. Performs schedule, quality, cost, and critical activities tracking against the plan.

5. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for electrical components, power train systems, and distribution infrastructure.

6. Manages within the established performance, schedule, and budget constraints.

7. Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive sourcing.

8. Serve as a strategic bridge between tactical plant-level sourcing and corporate Commodity Management, ensuring alignment and execution of sourcing strategies.

9. Ensure sourcing activities comply with Eaton policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

10. Monitor supplier adherence to ethical sourcing, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption policies.

11. Maintain compliance with sourcing policy and contribute to regulatory reviews and audit readiness.

12. Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field is often a minimum requirement.

5-10 years of sourcing or procurement experience with electrical products.

Proven ability to develop and implement strategic sourcing plans, including category management for data center. Have good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems used in power distribution.
