Job description

As a Product Development and Sourcing Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to drive product innovation and manage sourcing activities to ensure the development of high-quality products that meet customer expectations and align with industry trends and brand identity.Your key responsibilities will include conducting thorough market and trend research to identify new product opportunities. You will collaborate closely with design, marketing, and sales teams to create innovative product concepts and manage the entire product development process. This includes creating and managing technical specifications, samples, and prototypes, as well as selecting appropriate materials and components to achieve a balance of quality, innovation, and cost.In addition, you will be responsible for sourcing activities, which involve identifying, evaluating, and onboarding reliable suppliers both domestically and internationally. Negotiating pricing, minimum order quantities, delivery terms, and contracts with vendors will be crucial in this role. You will also be managing purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries and production readiness while monitoring supplier performance and compliance with quality, ethical, and sustainability standards.Furthermore, you will work closely with QA teams to resolve any issues and maintain consistent product quality. Developing strong vendor relationships to support long-term sourcing strategies will be essential for the success of this role.This full-time position offers benefits such as leave encashment and Provident Fund. The work location is at Okhla Industrial Area Phase-i, Delhi, Delhi, requiring in-person presence. Additionally, occasional travel to the market to explore new trending items may be necessary.
