Director of Solutions Engineering and Client Success
Overview:

We are looking for a highly consultative and experienced Director of Solutions Engineering and Client Success who has operated in complex SaaS environments.

As a part of the Solutions Engineering team, you will play an integral role in several phases of the client lifecycle. You will support all pre‑sales productivity and deal flow by securing the “technical close” for our complex solutions and will ensure clients are set up for success as they transition to our Implementation and Customer Success teams. You will collaborate closely with our Sales, SME, Implementation, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address client needs and are properly supported by key client decision‑makers.

This role requires heavy interaction with prospects and clients and is ideal for someone with a passion for technology, problem‑solving, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand prospect’s business needs and technical requirements.
  • Articulate the value of the technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
  • Deliver tailored product demos that highlight the technical features and capabilities of our SaaS platform and create compelling use cases that address the prospect’s unique needs.
  • Design and maintain demo environments showcasing 73 Strings’ features and functionalities.
  • Serve as a technical advisor during sales calls, meetings, and follow‑ups.
  • Lead POC engagements by setting up environments, configuring solutions to align with customer use cases, and ensuring a successful experience.
  • Lead a consultative technical selling process and build robust long‑term relationships with prospects and clients.
  • Drive growth of the 73 Strings Brand with industry, platform, and private markets knowledge.
  • Assist the sales team in crafting responses to technical inquiries in RFPs and RFIs.
  • Work closely with the Implementation and Customer Success team to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers, providing all relevant technical information and context.
  • Train and mentor junior colleagues.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Graduate or post‑graduate qualification.
  • 5+ years of customer‑facing experience in a client‑facing role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Pre‑Sales Engineer, Project Management, or Solutions role.
  • Experience in delivering engaging and technical sales demos.
  • Good understanding of Private Markets’ ecosystem (Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture Capital) and workflow (portfolio monitoring, valuations).
  • Coaching and training capabilities.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and client skills.
  • Technology/platform ultra‑savvy.
  • Outstanding project management skills and methodology.
  • Critical thinking and time management skills required.
  • Passion for technology and a love for working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
