Job description
Your Role:

As a senior software engineer in the Rates and Credit (R&C) Technology Crew in Principal Flow Trading (PFT), you will play a key role in the evolution and support of strategic R&C applications. Your focus will be on enhancing system reliability, enabling automation, and contributing to the gradual adoption of cloud technologies.

As a member of the Risk Pod, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of its strategic risk applications, with a specific role of migrating them onto the Cloud.

  • contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our risk systems
  • provide deep technical expertise in risk analytics and data flows
  • support non-production environments and provide coverage for production support, ensuring timely resolution and communication of incidents
  • drive automation across testing, deployment, and operational processes
  • collaborate on cloud enablement initiatives (e.g., containerisation, cloud computing)
  • act as a mentor to junior developers on the team
  • package, maintain and upgrade external 3rd party Electronic Client Network (ECN) applications for internal usage by the R&C trading desks
Your Team:

You’ll be part of the Risk Pod in the Rates and Credit (R&C) Technology Crew in the Principal Flow Trading (PFT) Technology Stream, a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused team operating across 8 cities in 6 countries. The pod is located globally across cities in Singapore, Pune, London, Krakow, Budapest, New York, and Raleigh, and is responsible for building and maintaining the risk platforms that support trading and client applications.

Your Expertise:
  • 7+ years of experience in .NET development, with strong emphasis on system architecture and build engineering
  • proven experience working with Fixed Income Risk systems, including analytics, data pipelines, and integration with trading platforms
  • proven experience collaborating closely with Front Office Risk stakeholders (e.g., Trading, Quants, Finance, Market Risk, and regulatory programs (e.g., FRTB))
  • experience in the CDS trading space would be a plus, Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • experience with NET Core and legacy .NET frameworks, SQL (Oracle & MS SQL Server) technologies, GitLab and CI/CD pipelines, Agile development practices, Automated testing and deployment, Containerisation and cloud compute services and 3rd party ECN applications (e.g., TradeWeb Dealer, TradeWeb Viewer, MarketAxess, ICAP applications etc)
  • comfortable working in dynamic environments with evolving priorities
