Overview
  • Industry/ Organization Type: Construction
  • Position Title: Site Supervisor
  • Working Location: Islandwide (but to report at Pioneer)
  • Working Hours: 6 days (Mon to Fri 9.00AM - 5.30PM) (Sat 9.00AM - 4.30PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $4,500 + $400 (Transport Allowance) + Petrol card + Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure quality control across projects in the region.
  • Collaborate with the main contractor and stakeholders for efficient project execution.
  • Work with the Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) to enhance operational processes and workflows.
  • Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maintain work quality and reduce rectification costs.
  • Assign tasks to foremen and workers.
  • Ensure ISO compliance.
  • Certify all workers for their specific tasks.
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain control measures.
  • Investigate accidents and non-conformities.
  • Carry out safety inspections and report to the AOM.
  • Implement and manage the permit-to-work system.
  • Ensure work areas are safe before operations begin.
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings.
  • Handle rectification documentation and cost analysis.
  • Report monthly on repair costs to maintain budget control.
  • Keep the worksite safe and organized.
  • Promote a positive work environment and encourage innovative thinking to improve operations.
  • Oversee batching plant operations to ensure efficient and quality concrete production.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
