Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee project implementations from inception to completion. The ideal candidate must have a certificate in Safety Supervisor, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking contractors. Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Project coordinator, manager to plan, manage and ensure smooth implementation and monitor of projects assigned from inception to completion on time and of desired quality
• Ensure performance complies with specifications, technical clarifications, and drawings.
• Responsible for effective site administration which include site safety and control of materials and machinery on site
• To ensure delivered construction materials are of specified requirements
• Prepare daily site reports, take site progress, check and take site measurements
• Minimise material and manpower wastage
• Handle labour and supplier disputes
• Conduct daily toolbox meeting
• Able to rectify and supervise works done on site
• Able to work on weekend/public holiday.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum Certificate requirement in Safety Supervisor
• Strong technical knowledge and capability to solve technical and site issues
• Check daily attendance of workers for late arrival, absence, false claim, etc
• Able to communicate with Mandarin speaking contractors
• Strong communication skills
• Willing to work at dusty environment
