Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a project manager to plan and oversee construction activities. You will liaise with authorities and ensure projects are completed on time and to desired quality standards. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Civil Engineering, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years working experience in building construction or road works.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Able to plan, manage and ensure smooth implementation and monitor of projects assigned from inception to completion on time and of desired quality
• Liaise with authorities, client and consultant to execute the work as per specification and authority’s requirement
• Liaise with engineer to execute the work as per planning for the project
• Site supervision of construction workers
• Coordinate & supervise civil & structural works carry out by sub-contractors that's in accordance to specifications, shop drawings and method statements for the assigned site activities to meet schedule and control the quality of the work
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance to safety rules and relevant regulations.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by immediate superior and/ or HOD.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Certifictate in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
• Possess relevant trade foreman certificate, NCC, BCSS etc
• Preferably 3-5 years working experience in building construction industry/ road works
• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice
• Effectively bilingual
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
• Independent, analytical, meticulous and possess positive working attitude
