As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. How you create impact

• Take full accountability for financial performance, budget control, and site profitability.

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, inventory management, and cold chain handling.

• Ensure performance metrics and customer targets are met or exceeded, aligned with service agreements and internal benchmarks.

• Lead a team of Operations staff (both white- and blue-collar), providing direction, coaching, and performance reviews.

• Foster strong customer relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring service satisfaction and proactive issue resolution.

• Identify and drive cost-saving and productivity-enhancing initiatives via lean practices or process optimization.

• Support and lead any upcoming system migration projects, including user testing, training, and go-live support.

• Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, safety standards, and relevant regulatory guidelines.

What we would like you to bring

• Minimum 8 years of experience in contract logistics or warehouse operations, with at least 5 years in a site leadership role .

• Logistics experience managing cold chain or temperature-controlled environments is a strong advantage.

• Proven P&L ownership and track record of meeting operational KPIs.

• Strong leadership capabilities in managing diverse teams across functions.

• Experience in system implementation or migration projects (e.g., WMS upgrades).

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced multi-client warehousing setup.

• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is preferred.
