Job summary

YASUDA LOGISTICS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites applications for an Export Shipping Operations Clerk.

You will manage and coordinate daily export shipping tasks and liaise with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, hauliers and other service providers to ensure smooth shipments. You will prepare and process shipping documents, check details against letters of credit, and assist with related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' level or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant experience in NVOCC operations and shipping documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well in a team and independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily export shipping operations.
• Prepare and process shipping documents (BL, permit, CO, shipping notes, instructions, invoices).
• Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, hauliers and service providers.
• Check documents against L/C and follow up on discrepancies.
• Perform other shipping and operational duties as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily export shipping operations.
• Prepare and process shipping related documents, including Bill of Lading, Permit, Certificate of Origin, Shipping Notes, Shipping Instructions, Invoices and other relevant documents
• Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, hauliers and other service providers to ensure smooth shipment arrangements.
• Check shipping documents carefully against letter of credit (L/C) and follow up on any discrepancies or missing information.
• Perform other shipping and operational duties as assigned by the management.

Requirement

• Minimum GCE "O" level or equivalent
• Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skill and the ability to interact effectively with people of all levels
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in NVOCC operations and shipping documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
