Private Advertiser is seeking a logistics professional to manage import/export operations from Singapore. You will prepare and verify shipping documents, coordinate with freight forwarders and government agencies, and track shipments to meet schedules.
The role requires 2-3 years in shipping/logistics, GCE O Levels, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and TradeNet. You will ensure regulatory compliance and maintain audit-ready records while handling delays and customer inquiries.
Manage and coordinate the import/export of goods, which includes preparing and verifying shipping documents, liaising with logistics partners and government agencies, tracking shipments schedule, maintaining accurate record, updating inventory, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Handle the full set of import/export documents, such as invoices, packing lists, COO, and bills of lading
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, courier services, and other internal departments
Ensure adherence to all relevant shipping and customs regulations and maintain accurate records for audits
Oversee the timely collection, delivery, and clearance of cargo
Track shipments, update relevant stakeholders on status, and prepare reports
Address any issues that arise, such as delays, lost or damaged items, and customer complaints
Typically requires 2-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or import/export documentation
A minimum of GCE 'O' Levels
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with shipping software like TradeNet
Knowledge of Singapore Customs procedures and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs)
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
