Our Global Customer Support team is seeking a Service Engineer to support our regional and worldwide customers. The ideal candidate is one having some hands‑on or operational experience involving main engine or thrusters. The role also involves providing product support to our customers as well as being part of a knowledge pool giving back‑end support for the field service team.

Job Descriptions

• Focus on customer support, commissioning, and service for the assigned Kongsberg Maritime product range, covering service activities in South‑East Asia and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Perform workshop tests and technical preparations, ensuring proper preparation, execution, and meeting performance standards at all times.
• Generate service reports, update drawings, maintain the cable information database, and manage other relevant documentation.
• Assist the sales department with technical issues and handle pre‑ and post‑work administrative tasks.
• Undertake ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Min. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Good understanding and knowledge of specific products, systems, their functionality and applications.
• Must be Certified to Operate and qualified to a minimum of Level 1 in SEMAS.
• Relevant working experience in maritime industry is preferred
• Must have excellent co‑operative skills, good communication skills, result‑oriented and self‑motivated
• Self‑driven attitude to find solutions to problems.
• Service minded with passion and patience for handling customers
• Ability to work independently
