We are assisting a reputable marine service company to source for aSenior Service Engineer/Technical Manager. The incumbent should be well versed with ship engines.

Technical Expertise

  • Installation & commissioning of propulsion units, marine engines, generators, and supporting systems
  • Scheduled & corrective maintenance across mechanical and electrical shipboard systems
  • Fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, and determination of corrective measures
  • Interpretation of technical documentation, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Execution of sea trials, operational testing, and performance verification

Service Delivery

  • On-site and remote client technical support
  • Acting as lead technical interface during service assignments and project work
  • Accurate preparation of service logs, inspection findings, and maintenance records
  • Adherence to company quality standards and maritime safety regulations

Professional Attributes

  • Diploma in Marine/Mechanical Engineering (minimum 5 years direct field experience)
  • Proven work history with marine engines & generators; propulsion knowledge preferred
  • High mobility — available for domestic & international travel to ports, shipyards, and vessels
  • Clear, professional communication and customer handling skills
  • Self-directed, able to work without day-to-day supervision
  • Holds valid Right to Work in Singapore
