Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, and secure high-value project opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, architects, IDs, M&E consultants, and contractors
  • Influence lighting specifications during concept and design stages
  • Lead sales strategies to achieve EBITA growth and improve gross margins
  • Oversee full project lifecycle, including tendering, costing, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning
  • Manage project timelines, resources, subcontractors, and installation teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, technical support) for smooth execution
  • Resolve site issues promptly while ensuring safety and compliance standards
  • Prepare project reports, risk assessments, and progress updates
  • Deliver impactful presentations, technical discussions, and solution proposals to clients
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking sessions to enhance visibility
  • Provide market insights and competitive analysis to senior management
  • Support annual sales planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Mentor junior team members and uphold strong commercial and operational standards
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in senior sales roles within the lighting or construction materials industry
  • Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) for liaising with Japanese speaking clients and stakeholders
  • Strong network with developers, architects, IDs, consultants, and contractors in Singapore
  • Proven track record in securing and delivering mid- to large-scale projects
  • Solid understanding of lighting solutions, installation workflows, and project management fundamentals
  • Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
