Job summary

A leading MNC in construction located in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor. The role involves tendering, liaising with consultants, and preparing cost estimates. Candidates should possess a Diploma or Degree in construction management or Quantity Surveying with at least 3 years of experience in building construction projects. A competitive salary package of up to $7,000 plus variable bonuses offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in building construction projects is preferred.
• Experience with civil infrastructure, Tunnel, MRT, or PUB projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to Contract manager and involving in HQ tenders projects.
• Responsible for all work related to building Quantity Surveyor duties.
• Liaise with consultants and subcontractors on the progress claim.
• Prepare subcontract documents and purchasing agreements.
• Preparing cost estimation and identifying variation works.
• Liaise with the project site, subcontractors, and contractual issues.

• Having QS tendering experience in civil infrastructure/ Tunnel/ MRT/ PUB projects preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Reporting to Contract manager and involving in HQ tenders projects
• Responsible for all work related to building Quantity Surveyor duties.
• Liaise with consultants and subcontractors on the progress claim.
• Prepare subcontract documents and purchasing agreements.
• Preparing cost estimation and identifying variation works.
• To source quotations from sub-contractors and prepare cost comparisons, negotiate, and award contracts
• Variation order or EOT claims
• Liaise with the project site, subcontractors, and contractual issues

Job Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in construction management/ Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in building construction projects is preferred
