Job summary

A leading research organization in Singapore seeks a specialist in Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) for Photonics applications. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in PVD processes, particularly with silicon nitride and titanium dioxide. Responsibilities include developing and optimizing processes, troubleshooting issues, and reporting to stakeholders. Excellent communication skills are essential, and familiarity with thin film characterization techniques is preferred.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3+ years research or industry experience in PVD is preferred.
  • Good understanding of thin film deposition techniques is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) module processes.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and characterize thin film properties.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for integration teams.
