Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager – Procurement & FF&E is responsible for the strategic planning and hands‑on execution of procurement, alongside the end‑to‑end delivery of multiple interior design projects across hospitality, commercial, and high‑end residential sectors.

The role spans all interior design disciplines and manages projects for both B2B clients (developers, operators, corporate clients) and B2C clients (private residential clients), across Singapore, the UAE, and Australia.

This position holds full accountability for procurement strategy—including sourcing approach, supplier and manufacturer selection, budgeting, lead‑time planning, logistics planning, and risk mitigation—as well as the physical placement and management of orders, from issuance of purchase orders through to delivery, installation, and final reconciliation.

Working closely with the Creative Director, General Manager, and Senior Design Team, and in daily coordination with the Finance team, the role ensures that procurement and project decisions align with design intent, programme, cash flow, and overall commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Turnkey Delivery
  • Manage multiple interior design projects concurrently across hospitality, commercial, and residential sectors
  • Work in close alignment with Lead Designers to support and facilitate delivery from early coordination and feasibility, through
  • Develop and maintain project programmes, milestones, budgets, and cash flow schedules
  • Support and coordinate internal design teams, external consultants (architects, MEP, QS), contractors, and suppliers
  • Lead and attend site meetings as required, monitor site progress, and ensure delivery aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and design intent
  • Identify and manage project risks, scope changes, and variations, ensuring clear documentation, approvals, and early escalation of variations, out‑of‑scope works, or cost impacts
2. Procurement Strategy (Planning & Control)
  • Develop and lead, in collaboration with the Senior Design Team, the procurement strategy for each project, including:
  • Sourcing approach (local vs international)
  • Supplier and manufacturer selection
  • Lead‑time planning and procurement phasing
  • Logistics, warehousing, and installation sequencing
  • Risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Prepare and manage procurement schedules, specifications, budgets, and cash flow forecasts, aligned with the project programme
  • Advise the Creative Director and General Manager on procurement decisions that impact design intent, programme, and financial exposure
  • Present procurement strategies, recommendations, and approvals clearly and professionally to B2B and B2C clients
3. Procurement Execution & Order Placement
  • Take direct responsibility for the placement of all FF&E and related procurement orders, including:
  • Issuing purchase orders
  • Managing supplier confirmations and documentation
  • Tracking production, delivery, and installation timelines
  • Lead price negotiations, payment terms, and conditions with suppliers and manufacturers
  • Ensure all orders are placed strictly in line with approved budgets, scopes, cash flow plans, and internal approvals
  • Manage substitutions, re‑selections, and supply chain changes as required, while protecting design intent and quality
4. Financial & Commercial Management
  • Work closely with the Finance team to:
  • Track procurement commitments and expenditure
  • Manage deposits, staged payments, and final balances
  • Support accurate forecasting and invoicing
  • Monitor project margins, procurement exposure, and cash flow risks
  • Ensure all financial controls, approval protocols, and internal governance requirements are followed
  • Ensure SOPs are strictly adhered to for order placement, including verification that deposits and client payments have been received prior to placing orders, to ensure ALBD is not financially exposed or out of pocket
5. Supply Chain, Logistics & Installation
  • Oversee production timelines, quality control, shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, and delivery
  • Coordinate on‑site delivery, installation, styling, snagging, and defects rectification
  • Ensure all FF&E and finishes are installed in accordance with approved specifications, drawings, and design intent close‑out documentation, warranties, and final financial and procurement reconciliations
6. Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a senior client‑facing lead, providing confident, structured, and solutions‑oriented communication
  • Manage expectations across B2B and B2C clients, balancing the design ambition of the Design Lead with programme, budget, and delivery realities
  • Support the Creative Director and General Manager in client presentations, procurement approvals, and progress reporting, ensuring all information is client‑ready, accurate, and aligned to enable effective expectation management
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors
7. Quality, Process & Team Collaboration
  • Uphold high standards of design integrity, workmanship, and finish quality
  • Contribute to the refinement and improvement of internal project management, procurement systems, and SOPs
  • Work collaboratively across design, operations, and finance to ensure aligned, efficient delivery
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in interior design‑led project management and FF&E procurement
  • Proven experience delivering turnkey interior projects from ground‑up to handover
  • Demonstrated ownership of both procurement strategy and order placement
  • Experience across hospitality, commercial, and residential interiors
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, FF&E, and site coordination
  • International sourcing and logistics experience across UAE, Australia, and China is highly advantageous
  • Singaporean / Permanent Resident / Work Permit
