Job description
Responsibilities
  • Support bid and tender preparation by defining technical scopes, methodologies, schedules, and risk assessments
  • Prepare and review transportation engineering deliverables such as transportation studies, load‑out, sea‑fastening, mooring, towing methodologies
  • Coordinate with the commercial team to ensure technical solutions are aligned with cost estimates, pricing assumptions, and contractual requirements
  • Identify risks and opportunities early in the project lifecycle and propose mitigation measures
  • Coordinate with clients, vessel owners, subcontractors, and internal teams to clarify technical requirements
  • Support vessel selection, capacity checks, stability analyses, and compliance with class, regulatory, and client requirements
  • Support planning and execution of marine operations, including schedules and operational sequences
  • Provide technical support during project execution, including reviews, calculations, and on‑site assistance
  • Develop and review stowage plan, ballast plan, towing arrangements, outfitting drawings, structural modification, mooring drawings, as‑fitted drawings and other relevant drawings
  • Develop and review seafastening designs, ensuring cargo is securely restrained in accordance with project requirements and marine standards
  • Perform motion analysis to evaluate dynamic loads, accelerations, and their effects on cargo integrity and seafastening arrangements
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with applicable codes, standards, HSE requirements, and company procedures
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and support post‑project reviews and lessons learned
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting professional development within the team

  • Minimum Diploma in Naval Architecture or related Marine Engineering
  • Minimum five (5) years working experience (preferably in marine transportation, heavy lift, or offshore project)
