Job description
Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Product & Application Engineer to bridge customers, R&D, and regional support teams. This role focuses on product innovation, technical pre- and post-sales support, and driving successful product introduction within a complex manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect process, production, and competitor insights directly from customer sites.
  • Identify and propose new product ideas and innovations to strengthen the product and service portfolio.
  • Support new product introductions, including launches, demos, trade shows, and customer evaluations.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and support customer sample builds.
  • Participate in R&D activities covering product definition, requirement engineering, and testing (in-house and on-site).
  • Define software requirements and feature enhancements using structured tools (e.g. JIRA).
  • Build strong technical expertise through close collaboration with Product Line, R&D, and global support teams.
Pre- & Post-Sales Technical Support
  • Conduct product evaluations, benchmarking, and customer demonstrations.
  • Support Sales and Commercial teams during pre-sales engagements.
  • Act as the primary technical interface for assigned key accounts.
  • Provide timely technical updates and guidance to Sales and CPM teams.
  • Investigate on-site issues and work closely with Software and Hardware Engineering to resolve problems efficiently.
Knowledge Transfer & Training
  • Maintain and troubleshoot demo equipment when required.
  • Deliver technical training to Field Service Engineers and customers on existing and upcoming platforms.
Requirements
