Job description
Job Objectives

Part of Airbus Tailored Support Program (“TSP”), maintenance Service developed for SIA and SCOOTAirlines, the Position Holder is responsible for the overall Aircraft Maintenance Planning of the assigned fleet in compliance with the approved Maintenance Program.

Monitor and controls the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements with utmost consideration of aircraft utilization, maintenance ground time, spares, tools and manpower. The Position Holder works with Customer and Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) team to ensure all the TSP Contractual requirements are fulfilled.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure work execution per the applicable processes in the CAMO PP and UG, Interface Manuals and/or Operations Manuals and available Internal Manuals defined for Maintenance Planning, Maintenance Program, Data Management and Technical Record activities. Refer to the applicability per fleet / Customer.
  • Monitoring of the operational and contractual KPI and ensure all are met. To identify the reasons of any deviation and to recommend any applicable solution/s.
  • Ensure and maintain data quality in MIS and no overrun on Maintenance planning tasks.
  • Regular review and ensure that MIS data is updated and review continuous system improvement and clean-up to ensure correct Maintenance Planning Forecasts and Issuance.
  • Work with all the stakeholders to ensure proper alignment of the Flight Scheduling and Maintenance Planning activities.
  • If applicable, to conduct regular material planning with the spares controller team to ensure all spares are available to support all the maintenance tasks.
  • Oversees the MRO’s performance on the execution of all the planned maintenance activities.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of preventive maintenance planning and maintenance program activities.
  • Contribute to the development of new services through Skywise and / or available MIS or system. Support strategies for the continuous improvement of methods and procedures. Deploying and industrializing tools to drive efficiency.
  • Develop strategies and skills for the continuous improvement of methods and procedures.
  • To ensure the applicable planning technical documents are continually updated and available in the company's Shared drive.
  • Enhance quality, enabling right first time along the value chain and ensure airworthiness and safety standards are applied in our services.
  • Works closely with the management team, other departments within the Customer-TSP, and other departments within the Airbus group. Share best practices, information relevant to the group to avoid silos and ensure consistent practices across all TSP.
  • Supports Engineering and Commercial teams to avoid potential source of delays and wastages in the fleet management
  • Supports Operations and Engineering teams on optimized campaign programs to improve the Reliability of the fleet
  • Oversights the Planning Engineer’s work and ensure the procedures are in place to meet contractual obligations.
  • Represents the team with quality service during meetings, presentations and official business trips.
  • Ensure that all customer concerns and requests are attended with high level of professionalism and on timely manner. Keep a high level of harmonious relationship with the customer.
  • Ensure protection of planning data and organization of files in the shared folder and monthly back up of files.
  • Training of Planning Engineers with their assigned tasks.
  • Compliance to all trainings mandated by CAMO per the competency matrix and other trainings assigned.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as designated by the HO Planning or Planning Manager.
