About the Role

At Singapore Fashion Council, we believe that great organisations are built by great people. We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Senior People & Talent Executive who is excited about shaping meaningful employee experiences, building future-ready talent, and creating people practices that truly make a difference.

This role is for someone who brings a can-do, start-up mindset, thrives in a dynamic environment, and enjoys wearing multiple hats – from people operations and talent acquisition to learning & development and evolving into a trusted People Partner to the business. If you care deeply about helping people grow, building strong teams, and creating a culture of excellence where individuals can do their best work, we’d love to meet you.

You’ll play a hands-on role in building world-class people processes, including competency frameworks and learning journeys for both retail front-line and corporate teams, supporting SFC’s mission to be the vibrant Asian hub for Responsible Fashion.

Responsibilities
People Operations & Employee Journey
  • Own the end-to-end employee journey, including onboarding, confirmations, contract management, internal movements, and offboarding.
  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of people policies, processes, and SOPs.
  • Maintain accurate people data and dashboards to enable sound workforce decisions.
  • Partner managers to support employee relations matters with care, fairness, and professionalism.
Payroll, Compliance & Governance
  • Coordinate payroll processing with internal and external partners, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong governance.
  • Lead government reporting and audits, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.
  • Uphold high standards of documentation, controls, and process discipline across all people operations.
Talent Acquisition
  • Drive end-to-end recruitment across diverse roles, including retail front-line and corporate positions.
  • Partner leaders on workforce planning, role design, and hiring decisions to build strong, future-ready teams.
  • Create a thoughtful and engaging candidate experience that reflects SFC’s values and employer brand.
Learning, Growth & Capability Building
  • We have built a world class Competency framework process. Support the continued rollout of competency frameworks and learning journeys for retail and corporate teams.
  • Coordinate training programmes, leadership workshops, and capability-building initiatives.
  • Track learning participation and outcomes to continuously strengthen our talent pipeline.
People Partnering (Progressive Scope)
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and managers across generations.
  • Provide thoughtful people advisory support on performance, engagement, and workforce matters.
  • Contribute to organisation-wide initiatives that foster a strong, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
People Transformation & Digital Enablement
  • Contribute to building world-class people processes and scalable frameworks.
  • Explore and apply people tools and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and employee experience.
  • Continuously look for better ways to serve the business and our people.
What We’re Looking For
  • Graduate degree qualification is a must (e.g., Business Administration, Psychology, HR or related disciplines).
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in people operations and talent acquisition.
  • Strong experience in payroll coordination (work with payroll vendor).
  • Experience in managing government funding related audits is highly desired.
  • High attention to detail, with a strong sense of ownership and governance.
  • A proactive, hands-on individual who enjoys building from the ground up in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Ability to connect with and influence senior leaders, while building trust with employees across generations, including retail front-line teams.
  • Experience working with retail or front-line workforce is an added advantage.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams.
  • A forward-looking mindset, with interest or experience in people tools, digitalisation, and AI to enhance people practices.
Why Join Us
