Job Description
  • Daily responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
  • Interface with Business Finance in the implementation of accounting treatment and schemas
  • Work with business stakeholders, operations users, business finance and project teams on accounting configuration matters
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the various regulator(s).
  • Investigate and participate to any remediation issues impacting existing reports.
  • Improve current processes, procedures and reports including automation of manual processes.
  • Contribute to trade reporting related strategic initiatives.
  • Work with Compliance, Technology, Operations group and business units to manage enhancement and issues resolution, if any.
  • Provide ongoing assessment and awareness of any changes to the regulatory environment landscape and bank's adherence to its reporting obligations
  • Collaborate with oversea branches and provide oversight on regulatory trade reporting for Korea, EMIR, ASIC.
  • Participate in UAT projects and BAU fixes
  • Provide holiday coverage for regional reporting on rotational basis.
Job Requirements
  • Recognized Degree in any one or a combination of these specializations - Banking / Finance / Accountancy / Computing
  • Minimum 1-3 years Work experience in an operations environment within a financial institution
  • Knowledge and experience in Global Markets products
  • Good accounting knowledge
  • Past experience in OTC trade reporting preferred but not necessary.
  • Meticulous and strong analytical thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate strategy to execution
  • Possess problem solving skills and ability to understand complex workflows
  • Strong communication skills and team player, to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient with VBA/Macro is preferred but not necessary.
