We are looking for outgoing and flexible individuals with proven experience of working in the area of adult rehabilitation. You will prepare our patients for community integration through carefully designed activities and processes. You are required to demonstrate sound assessment, clinical reasoning and complex discharge planning skills. Your work also involves providing home assessment and advice on home modifications. The hospital provides full suite of rehabilitation to patients with Stroke, Fracture, Post-surgical deconditioning etc. The rehab unit has a well-established multi-disciplinary team approach and the ideal candidate needs to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This post offers an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their clinical expertise in the areas of Stroke, Dementia, frail elderly or fractures. They will have the support of the multidisciplinary team. In addition, the candidate will work alongside other therapists, therapy assistants and students.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a well-established multi-disciplinary team and maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Develop clinical expertise in areas such as Stroke, Dementia, frail elderly or fractures, with support from the multidisciplinary team.
  • Work alongside other therapists, therapy assistants and students.
Qualifications
  • Minimum a recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
