Cloud Networking is an engineering team responsible for the development of Google Cloud Platform's networking infrastructure, tools and products.
This team is part of the Cloud Networking and their role specializes in network diagnostics, troubleshooting, performance measurement and benchmarking.
In this role, you will be involved in onboarding very high‑value customers, where Google needs performance benchmarking to provide guidance to the user when they have extreme network throughput and processing requirements.
You will have a unique opportunity to master Google's planet‑scale network and develop critical insights to Fortune 500 workloads on Google Cloud. You will have a front‑row seat to innovation, observing how advanced networking capabilities are woven into the cloud of the future, the very infrastructure that will unlock the next generation of AI‑driven, hyper‑scale applications.

The Network Team is responsible for operating that network reliably and at scale. Our team owns the full life cycle of all space, power, and network assets in all of Google’s data centers and metro points of presence globally. From the foundation, we are involved from site acquisition to construction and are accountable for what space and power is delivered. We're involved in every facet of network delivery from architecture and design to installation, configuration, activation, and commissioning.
