Job description

One of our client (a leading bank of Singapore) is undertaking a strategic upgrade of its Murex MX.3 platform to enhance system resilience, support new product capabilities, and align with evolving regulatory and operational requirements. This initiative includes upgrading from version 3.1.42.48b to 3.1.6x.x, onboarding the EQA and OSP Excess modules, and implementing comprehensive reconciliation, testing automation, and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Murex Software needed for Murex client's projects using Murex tools and scripts
• Murex EOD Batch configuration set up, MxML, Datamart support
• Environment deployment and Management Operations
• Perform basic smoke tests before delivering the needed products. Act as a first level support for already deployed Murex products, re‑redirecting and following the issues with the corresponding support teams
• Configuration Management
• Use Murex configuration management tools to import/export configuration items and analyse related issues
• Apply the configuration management methodologies
• Perform database sanitization and purging procedures

Mandatory Skills

• 4‑8 years of extensive experience in handling Murex Technical Support, Database Administration (DBA) & Murex Client Server Environment
• Strong database back‑end development and performance tuning skills
• Strong skills in adapting to environment and cross‑cultural teams
• Should possess good knowledge on Murex Services and environment management
• Good overall understanding of Murex architecture and overall Murex functionality
• Should have exposure to executing Murex Binary Upgrades
• Exposure to various Murex settings, Parameters and configurations
• System Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation of application systems in RDBMS systems
