Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to improving production processes, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. The role requires working closely with engineers to set up, calibrate, and optimize manufacturing operations, as well as actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks associated with all manufacturing operations, including setup, calibration, rework, and quality testing for parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
  • Utilize advanced software programs to collect and analyze operating data for on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers to determine and develop methods and procedures to optimize and control manufacturing processes.
  • Work closely with engineers to conduct experiments and implement process improvements.
  • Participate in abnormality detection to identify and resolve issues in production processes promptly.
  • Drive improvements in production yield, scrap reduction, and Out-of-Box Quality (OBQ) performance.
  • Contribute Kaizen ideas and actively engage in Small Group Activities (SGA) to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in 6S activities to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Education & Experience
  • A Diploma in Engineering or its equivalents with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Manufacturing.
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and adhering strictly to policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated commitment to good housekeeping and safety practices in the workplace.
  • Hands-on experience with sub-assemblies, soldering, and handling chemical solutions.
  • Ability to manage chemical solutions effectively during the cleaning process.
  • Flexibility to work shift hours
Working Conditions
  • This role is 100% onsite
  • 3 shifts (7am to 3.30pm, 3pm to 11pm, 11pm to 7am)
