Job description
Senior Manager, Technical Program Management

Job Id: REQ-0009634

The Riot Singapore AI Efficiency Team harnesses Machine Learning and AI to reimagine how games are built. We develop AI-powered tools and shared infrastructure that streamline development, accelerate creative workflows, and enable game teams to deliver high-quality experiences for Players worldwide.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to own the operational backbone of the team and drive execution across multiple related products grouped into programs. This role is not about creating a new vision, you will operationalize an existing one, scale lightweight delivery practices, anticipate dependencies, and help the team move faster by removing friction and elevating visibility for stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the team’s annual planning and OKR process to align priorities and secure budgets.
  • Own the team’s JIRA setup, hygiene, reporting structures, and backlog organization.
  • Run lightweight team and development rituals that sustain momentum without slowing early discovery and prototyping.
  • Manage multiple internal products as programs, aligning roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
  • Anticipate cross-team dependencies and risks proactively; clear roadblocks early and quietly.
  • Shield engineers, technical artists, and data scientists from administrative overhead so they can focus on building.
  • Lead stakeholder management across game teams and internal partners with the right cadence and format for each audience.
  • Serve as a proactive liaison with key tech partners (e.g. "ML Platform", IT/InfoSec, Legal, Infrastructure etc).
  • Prepare polished monthly updates in Google Slides and Google Sheets, including progress, KPIs, risks, and decisions.
  • Prepare twice‑monthly product updates tailored to different stakeholder levels and contexts.
  • Write and maintain clear technical product plans and documentation across a wide range of AI‑powered internal tools.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management, technical product management, or closely related roles in complex software environments.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to connect day‑to‑day execution with the bigger picture.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple products and projects simultaneously, ideally grouped and operated as programs.
  • Strong dependency and stakeholder management skills across teams, functions, and geographies.
  • Comfortable in deep technical discussions with senior engineers, technical artists, architects, and data scientists working in fast‑moving AI spaces.
  • Demonstrated track record of shepherding products from idea to production and long‑term support.
  • Strong product development rigor with pragmatic, stage‑appropriate process (no process bloat).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive‑ready storytelling.
  • High proficiency in Google Workspace with experience producing polished progress updates and KPI reporting.
Desired Qualifications & Benefits
  • Experience in AAA game development and/or internal tools for large creative or game organizations.
  • Familiarity with game engine/editor integrations (e.g. "Unreal").
  • Experience with modern full‑stack web development and deployment.
  • Exposure to MLOps, DevOps/SRE, CI/CD, observability, and AI platform ecosystems.
  • Track record shipping high‑quality, high‑scale software in fast‑paced environments.
  • Experience navigating other disruptive technology waves where best practices evolved rapidly.
  • Full relocation support
  • Comprehensive health insurance for you, your spouse, and children
  • Open paid time off
  • Retirement benefits with company matching
  • Life insurance, parental leave, plus short‑term and long‑term disability
  • Play Fund so you can deepen your knowledge of our players and community through games
