Job Description
  • Responsible for the development and execution of Programme Management Plan including scope, objectives, deliverables, timeline and resources until successful completion of the programmes within established parameters.
  • Responsible for allocation and management of resources across multiple planned projects/activities within each assigned programme, while optimizing resource utilization and addressing resource constraints to ensure programme success.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to establish and manage programme budgets while monitoring expenses, tracking spending, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and SOP.
  • Responsible for establishing and overseeing programme risk management activities; its identification, assessment, mitigation as well as developing contingency plans and strategies to address potential roadblocks.
  • Track and ensure that the programmes assigned are managed and executed in accordance with government regulations, company’ policies, commitments and goals.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication when managing stakeholders, including internal cross-functional project teams, leadership as well as external customers, suppliers and international partners to ensure smooth execution of the programme.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date programme documentation and provide comprehensive periodic programme updates to internal stakeholders and leadership.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business discipline with a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience as a project or programme manager of medium to large-scale Engineering projects.
  • Proven experience in programme life cycle, financial and risk management.
  • Qualification/Certification in programme management such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office with exceptional skillset in MS Excel using formulas, functions and PivotTables to sort, analyze and present complex costing data.
