  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, or corporate advisory.

  • Experience directly managing, coaching, and developing a team of three or more direct reports in a relevant business.
Preferred qualifications
  • Master’s degree or MBA in a Management, Technical, or Engineering field.
  • Understanding of Google’s Ads products, sales teams, or service operations, as well as the relevant customer and engaged landscapes.
  • Ability to influence, communicate, and drive change often cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels of management.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives while maintaining operational pragmatism.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) is a Global team that serves as the strategy, operations, and product commercialization partner to Global Business Organization (GBO). The team ensures Google’s complex and ever‑evolving Ads business delivers strategic growth and operates effectively. The team is responsible for setting go‑to‑market strategy, shaping priorities and resources to accelerate business growth, and commercializing the next generation of Ads products from representing the customer to advocating for product requirements to ensuring teams are equipped to drive customer growth, product adoption, and business health at scale. The team plays an important role in building excellent go‑to‑market infrastructure from tooling to enhancing business skills to ensuring flawless execution and operations against desired business outcomes and priorities. GTM has teams embedded in each of the Ads business areas as well as in Global teams that work across the business areas.

In this role, you will lead a team to deliver action‑oriented data analyses, build strong product diagnostics and governance, drive scaled product operations and lead strategic initiatives. You will work directly with the regional Ads Sales team. You will grow a talented group of strategy and operations associates and analysts to own outcomes for large projects requiring investigative tools and methods, storytelling and influencing.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the team to conduct analysis of product and data to identify trends, insights and intelligence to support decision making and activation. Create clear and informative reports and dashboards.
  • Lead the team to define, align upon and execute against priority regional product Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and activation priorities, metrics, and strategies to build governance systems diagnose, discuss and progress against key business goals.
  • Work with internal stakeholders cross‑functionally to deliver solutions that meet our business objectives to influence global stakeholders to build solutions for regional needs.
  • Build, manage, and coach a team of Strategy and Operations Associates and Analyst functions.
