Job summary

A leading financial institution in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage and support the Fund Finance business in the APAC region. Responsibilities include negotiating transactions and collaborating with stakeholders in both English and Japanese. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, a solid understanding of banking products, and proven interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse environment.

Job description
Job Descriptions
  1. Overall management and support of Fund Finance business investor services business expansion in APAC region.
  2. Originate, execute, and manage portfolio of fund finance transactions covering APAC-based investment managers.
  3. Negotiate term sheet, perform due diligence, prepare credit application and obtain approval, and review documentation with legal counsels.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (i.e. treasury, risk management, and operations groups) to facilitate fund finance execution.
  5. Collaborate with Tokyo Head Office (TKO HO) to enhance internal framework and infrastructure, including IT governance, loan operations, and monitoring.
  6. Prepare and communicate various performance and accounting internal reportings in English for Singapore Branch (SGB) and in Japanese for TKO HO.
  7. Lead fund finance initiative projects and facilitate implementation process with the key stakeholders in SGB and TKO HO.
  8. Effective management of issues and incidents to ensure they are tracked and successfully remediated within required timelines.
  9. Keeping in the loop of all sector & APAC trends, clients & targets, market knowledge and industry developments
Job Requirements
  1. Bachelor degree or above.
  2. Solid understanding of banking products and operations.
  3. Preferably with past experiences in corporate / structured / fund finance, credit officer at a financial institution.
  4. Preferably with past experiences at a bank in business planning, financing, loan administration, funding, budgeting and new initiative implementation.
  5. Proficient verbal and written skills in both English and Japanese to work closely with various Japanese stakeholders in TKO HO.
  6. Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner with both internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills with cultural sensitivity and good teamwork ethic.
  8. Proactive and highly motivated individual who is passionate about adding value to a new business with entrepreneurial mindset.
  9. Understanding of MUTB policies and procedures, including those of market business, employment, compliance, conduct, etc.
