Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Manager, Insurer Relations, to join a fast-growing insurance platform in Singapore. This role focuses on building and managing strategic partnerships with General Insurance carriers. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in General Insurance and a strong background in relationship management, negotiation, and business development. Responsibilities include leading negotiations, supporting growth initiatives, and providing advisory support.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in General Insurance (non-life).
  • Strong product knowledge in personal lines, e.g. motor, travel.
  • Well-connected within the Singapore General Insurance ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage insurer relationships across the Singapore GI market.
  • Lead commercial negotiations on underwriting terms and partnership structures.
  • Support growth initiatives through presentations and strategic discussions.

  • Actasthemainpointofcontactforcarriers,includingunderwriters,productheads,distributionleaders,andseniormanagement
  • Leadcommercialnegotiationsonunderwritingterms,pricing,capacity,andpartnershipstructures
  • Supportgrowthinitiativesthroughpresentations,pitches,andstrategicdiscussions
  • Coordinateandmanageseveralinsurerworkstreamsinparallelwithstrongstructureanddiscipline
  • Provideinternaladvisorysupportwithaconsultingmindset,includingmarketinsights,benchmarking,andinsurerfeedback
Job Requirements:
