About the role

Thomson Medical Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Group Corporate Finance on a contract basis to cover an 8-month maternity leave. This critical role will be responsible to assist Group Business Controller the Company's corporate finance analysis and strategic initiatives within the Central Region. As a key member of the Corporate Finance team, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the financial health and growth of the organization.

What you'll be doing
  1. Corporate Finance Projects - Responsible and team lead for all small to mid-sized Corporate Finance Projects, including but not limited to M&A, fund-raising, internal restructuring, communication and coordination with internal and external parties and setting up data room etc.
  2. Group IA - Responsible for managing and coordinating all IA work for the Group, including reviewing quarterly updates by respective local mgt team, preparing the necessary reports for BoD presentation and reviewing SOPs and provide recommendations
  3. Responsible and the team lead for following up on all VN assigned related matters
  4. Performance monitoring - Review monthly mgt accounts for MY and VN and perform any in-depth analysis required, including PPTs for presentation
  5. Forecasting - Prepare and where possible, work with local finance team to set up the financial models
  6. Others specific - Key lead for all MY assigned related project and matters (e.g. operational stats, local IA, budget etc)
  7. Manage the activities of the corporate finance team, including mentoring, developing and review work of junior staff
  8. Liaise with external auditors and regulators as required
  9. Others - Responsible for any other adhoc or special projects assigned
What we're looking for
  1. Min 7 to 8+ years of post-qualification experience in audit and corporate finance, preferably in the healthcare industry
  2. Proven track record of preparing and presenting high-quality financial statements and analysis
  3. In-depth understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights
  5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop finance professionals
  6. Proficient in the use of financial reporting and analysis software, such as Excel and PowerBI
  7. Proficient in written and verbal communication in English to liaise with external parties, additional proficiency in additional language such as Chinese is a plus
  8. A recognized Bachelor of Accounting and Finance qualification, CA/CFA is essential
