Job Summary

We are looking for a Sr Manager/Manager to join our ADTS PEE DE module.

You will lead the Etch engineering team to meet maturity performance, cost, manufacturability, quality, reliability and schedule requirements. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to collaborating with internal and external partners to build and implement strategies aligned to organizational and business objectives by delivering high performing and cost‑effective advanced packaging solutions on time with highest quality and predictable reliability performance. Other responsibilities include ensuring organizational compliance with company policies, departmental procedures, providing organizational leadership for building and implementing department strategies, processes and policy through active participation in functional teams and projects.

Key responsibilities and duties include:
Strategic Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead a team of engineers and managers to achieve department goals.
  • Provide feedback timely, conduct regular 1:1s, and ensure career development discussions are part of the routine.
  • Advocate for the team and maintain a positive, people‑centric work culture.
Process & Technology Ownership
  • Oversee Dry Etch process development and optimization for advanced nodes.
  • Drive yield and quality improvement projects, SPC/Cpk enhancement, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Manage FOAK (First of a Kind) tool evaluations and new material qualifications.
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure compliance with QMS and business processes.
  • Strengthening inline defense and process robustness through collaboration with TD, PI, and other cross‑functional teams.
  • Support technology ramp readiness and cycle time reduction.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with suppliers and central engineering for hardware and material development.
  • Engage in strategic planning sessions and represent the department in leadership reviews.
Talent Development & Engagement
  • Drive hiring plans and talent pipeline development for engineers and managers.
  • Promote engagement initiatives and team‑building activities.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Encourage adoption of automation tools and AI for efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of informed risk‑taking and continuous learning.
Requirements
  • B.S/M.S./Ph.D. (or equivalent education) in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical fields.
  • At least 5 or more years of semiconductor Dry etch process and equipment engineering experience in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of process flows, process interactions, and how process changes can affect yield, performance, and reliability.
  • Proven experience in team development, project management, or a similar role.
  • Consistent track record to solve problems and address root causes.
  • Ability to multi‑task and manage numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Think and communicate clearly in urgent and stressful situations.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Validated ability to lead small and large teams, directly or indirectly, toward common goals.
