The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, along with certifications in major cloud technologies like AWS or Azure. Responsibilities include day-to-day operations on cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and managing cloud projects. Experience in project management and familiarity with ITIL processes are preferred, making this a key role in enhancing efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in two of the following: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional.
• Hands-on experience in implementing cloud services.
• Strong background in networking and core Internet Protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP.
• Familiar with ITIL processes.

Job description

The Role

• The role will be reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure covering cloud management.
• The role requires a skilled personnel to work out the strategies, processes, and technologies used to oversee and control cloud computing resources and services across various environments. It involves managing the entire lifecycle of cloud resources, from initial provisioning and deployment to ongoing monitoring, optimization, and eventual retirement or reallocation.
• The role ensures effective cloud management, efficient resource utilization, cost optimization, enhanced security, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• The role is also required to manage contracts and vendor resources to ensure the availability of the cloud resources.

Key accountabilities

• Responsible for day-to-day operations and administration on cloud infrastructure.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and/or debugging cloud related problems.
• Handle cloud projects.
• Good knowledge of troubleshooting, problem identification, problem resolution, and/or resolution recommendation activities.
• Must have experience in managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, OCI).
• Work with vendors to deliver the projects from the perspective of architecting and design, meeting project deadlines.
• Proactively monitor performance, ensuring high availability.
• Involve in Cloud and IT audit and adhere to security compliance and governance.
• Perform evaluation, proof of concept and provide recommendations to the Head of IT Infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• Must be certified in either two of the following:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional
• Working knowledge in cloud technologies.
• Hands‑on experience in implementing cloud services.
• Strong background in Linux and/or Windows administration.
• Solid understanding of networking and core Internet Protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and routing in distributed networks.
• Must have project management experience. PMP, PRINCE2 or CITPM certified will be added bonuses.
• Familiarity with container technology, security concepts will be added bonuses.
• Familiar with ITIL processes.
