Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for the profit and loss performance of the international LNG trading business.
• Participate in the development of trading strategies and contribute insights to drive LNG portfolio growth.
• Conduct thorough reviews and due-diligence assessments of LNG term and spot suppliers to ensure credibility and reliability.
• Lead negotiations for LNG trades and commercial transactions to secure optimal terms.
• Develop procurement and sales strategies for each transaction, aligning with market conditions and business objectives.
• Oversee the monitoring and execution of spot, short-term, and long-term LNG trading contracts.
• Prepare and present periodic management reports covering all LNG trades, market trends, developments, and market intelligence.
• Ensure all internal processes related to LNG trading comply with company policies, procedures, and governance standards.
• Lead and manage the team by providing clear direction, fostering collaboration, and driving high-performance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in LNG/Gas trading with a strong, demonstrable track record.
• Established relationships and networks within the global LNG and Gas markets.
• Strong commercial acumen with substantial experience in international business management.
• Deep understanding of the global LNG/Gas value chain, industry dynamics, and market trends.
• Solid knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, contract structures, and commercial practices.
• Skilled in negotiation, stakeholder coordination, and managing counterparties.
• Strong analytical abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
