Job description

As an AWS Vulnerability Management Engineer, you will identify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities within our AWS infrastructure, ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans across AWS services.
  • Implement AWS security best practices, including configuring IAM policies, security groups, and monitoring tools, and maintain VMS applications such as Tenable.
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts for vulnerability scanning and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with security trends, tools, and AWS features to strengthen our security posture.
  • Prepare detailed documentation and reports on findings and remediations for management and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cloud security, especially within AWS environments.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, risk management, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and security tools like Tenable.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant AWS or RHEL certifications are a plus.
