Job description
About Pivot

Pivot is a multidisciplinary spatial and branding studio based in Singapore. We design homes and commercial spaces that are thoughtful, functional, and enduring. Our work is not trend‑led. Instead, we focus on clarity, restraint, and designing spaces that genuinely support how people live and work.

We work closely with our clients, value clear thinking, and believe good design is as much about process and communication as it is about aesthetics.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer with at least 5 years of experience working in interior design practices in Singapore. This role requires strong design sensibility, confidence in client‑facing situations, and the ability to manage projects from concept through completion.

You will play a key role in shaping design outcomes while ensuring projects are well‑executed, commercially sound, and delivered with care.

Responsibilities
  • Lead client consultations to understand design objectives, lifestyle needs, functional requirements, and budgets

  • Develop design concepts, mood boards, space planning, and technical drawings

  • Source and specify furniture, materials, finishes, and accessories

  • Manage client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, responding to design‑related queries and ensuring a positive client experience

  • Work closely with the Project Manager on project coordination, including subcontractor management, site matters, and defects rectification

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered within budget and remain commercially viable

  • Ensure client invoices are prepared and issued accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in interior design firms in Singapore

  • Strong design fundamentals with attention to detail

  • Comfortable managing clients and multiple stakeholders

  • Good understanding of local construction processes and coordination

  • Organised, responsible, and commercially aware

  • Able to work collaboratively within a small, close‑knit team
