Job summary

SIA HUAT PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a capable HR professional to join the HR team in Singapore. You will support the full spectrum of HR functions and work closely with the Director, Human Resource, ensuring timely and accurate HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and reporting.

The role requires a Diploma in HR, at least 3 years of experience, and proficiency with Infotech Payroll. You will contribute to a positive, inclusive work culture and handle ad‑hoc HR duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Human Resources or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Hands-on experience with Infotech Payroll system is a must.
• Strong understanding of local employment laws and best HR practices.

Job description

As a member of the HR team, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions and assist the department's day to day operations to deliver value-added services to both management and employees. You will report to, and work in close collaboration with Director, Human Resource.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full spectrum of HR function
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and candidate selection
• Facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and departing employees
• Conduct the orientation for new employees
• Maintain and update employees' personal files and HR Systems
• Application, renewal and cancellation of foreign worker passes
• End to end payroll processing and ensure all payroll payments are in accordance with regulations, including preparation of IR21, IR8A, leave pay and claims
• Generate adhoc HR reports as necessary
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to create a positive and inclusive work culture
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as requested or assigned

About you

• Diploma or Equivalent in Human Resources related
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• Hands-on with Infotech Payroll system is a must
• Strong HR operational background, understanding of local employment laws and knowledge of best HR market practices
• Strong passion in interacting with people and willing to go the extra mile
• Self-Starter and a team player with a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation to get tasks done independently
