Job description
Prepare the onboarding process for newly hired employees, and orientate them on policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
Maintain digital P-files for employees and their documents and benefits.
Responsible for work pass administration such as work pass applications, renewal, cancellation, and issuance
Manage the payroll process with the payroll vendor to ensure a smooth salary payment cycle every month.
Coordinate with Payroll Vendor/ Government Authority on all government-related matters such as Labor Market Survey, IR21 and IR8A submission to Tax Authority, etc.
Medical insurance and benefits administration including registration for new employees and updating the leavers on a monthly basis.
Handle all necessary reporting, i.e. headcount, annual leave, etc.
Manage the off-boarding process for leavers which includes work pass cancellation (if required), notification email, exit letter, and returning of office equipment, etc.
Custodian of employee data management in HRIS system, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
Plan, coordinate, and drive HR events programs/initiatives on employee engagement and maintain an agenda. Be the Employee Engagement Champion!
Generate official internal documents such as offer letters, promotion letters, etc.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, initiatives, and procedures within the local statutory requirements.
Constantly identifies and communicates areas of improvement related to HR operations for greater efficiency and productivity gain.
Performs other ad hoc tasks and projects when required.
