Job summary

A prominent retail company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated HR professional. The successful candidate will partner with business leaders on all HR matters, manage recruitment processes, and ensure compliance with local employment laws. Ideal candidates should possess a relevant degree and have at least 3 years of HR experience, along with strong communication and collaborative skills. This role offers the opportunity to participate in HR projects enhancing employee experience and employer branding.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of related work experience in Talent Acquisition and/or HR.
  • Well-versed in the Employment Act and local labour legislations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary point of contact for people related matters.
  • Provide HR recommendations to line managers on various people matters.
  • Manage the full spectrum of recruitment & selection.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in hiring reports.
  • Manage HR operational duties including employment contracts and employee data.

Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders and employees of assigned business unit and act as primary point of contact for all people related matters.
  • Provide HR recommendations to line managers on all people related matters, such as manpower planning, people development, grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Partner with hiring managers on their manpower requirements and manage the full spectrum of recruitment & selection. This includes sourcing, screening, selection, hiring and onboarding.
  • Maintain candidate and requisition data accurately and be responsible for accurate and timely hiring reports.
  • Manage HR operational duties such as preparation of employment contract, work pass administrations, maintenance of employee data and documentation.
  • Ensure timely delivery of HR services.
  • Lead and participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance employer branding and employee experience.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business Management/Administration, Human Resource Management, Psychology or in related discipline(s).
  • At least 3 years of related work experience in Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources preferred.
  • Well-versed in the Employment Act and related local labour/employment related legislations.
  • Effective communicator, enjoys meeting people and able to build strong collaborative relationships across business teams and functions.
