Responsibility

• Prepare budgets and forecasts based on market trends, company goals, and historical data.
• Analyse financial reports to assess profitability and areas for cost reduction.
• Ensure proper allocation of resources to various departments.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, revaluation tasks, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for entities within the group.
• Ensure timely month-end closing and provide necessary schedules as required.
• Ensure the timely completion of the yearly financial audit and submit to public auditor.
• Handle GST-related matters, including preparation and submission of returns to IRAS.
• Manage cash flow to ensure the company meets all its financial obligations.
• Oversee credit control and collections to optimize working capital.
• Oversee the finance team, provide guidance, and ensure that financial processes and policies are followed.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to develop strategies for pricing, promotions, and financing options that drive revenue.
• Handle any additional accounting functions or projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum ACCA/Degree or professional qualification.
• Knowledge in Accounting, Tax.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience ideally in the automotive industry with Audit experience will be advantageous.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Manage cash flow and liaise with banks for fund transfers.
• Prepare financial reports and ensure timely audits.
• Lead and manage the finance team.
