A leading global machinery company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Finance representative to provide financial insights for business strategy. This role involves analysing financial reports, assisting dealers with financial planning, and leading enhancement projects for financial reporting. Candidates should possess a relevant degree and over 10 years of finance experience. Excellent analytical skills and decision-making abilities are essential. This position requires onsite presence five days a week.

Qualifications

Job description

The Senior Finance representative will support APD strategy by providing value-added and timely financial insights to enable key decisions for business case execution and support services growth by collaborating with district teams/industry team, deep diving data and leading projects to sustain dealer financial health and driving profitable growth.

What You Will Do:

• Analyses financial reports, evaluates the financial strength in assigned region(s), identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights to business partners and dealers.
• Along with the Finance Director, assists dealers in financial planning, credit and collections, accounting, cash management, etc. Reports financial trends and problem areas affecting dealer performance and recommends solutions to the dealer, Region Finance, District and Region Managers.

Asset Management

• Manages company receivables and administers payment policy to minimize past dues.
• Assists dealers in confidential continuity planning to analyse the financial impact on the dealership when transitioned to new owner. Analyses and evaluates proposals submitted by prospective dealer candidates and make recommendations relative to acceptability.

Projects and Governance

• Leads/participates in projects to enhance current dealer financial reporting and analysis.
• Provides valuable insights to business partners for better decision‑making.
• Monitors compliance to Dealer Finance Procedures, Sarbanes‑Oxley Act and Treasury Letters.

What You Have:

• Relevant bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics / Business administration or related field is preferred.
• 10+ years of Finance/Treasury/Business analysis experience is preferred.
• Credit/risk management/treasury experience is a plus.
• Decision making and critical thinking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are desirable along with the ability to work with a diverse workforce within company and dealer management.
• Good data analytical skills and accuracy and attention to detail.
